I live close to this press, and I had an interaction with the senior editor a few weeks ago on facebook then via email, and talked a bit about their website and how it can be confusing in the structure, then some things changed. I passed on a snippet and was told to share work when I felt ready.
I submitted through normal channels as I wanted to say my work got me a place not the nice conversation, and as of right now is sent up the chain. We will see how it goes! I should note I used the same email but my pen name and married name are different.
