9/25/2024 - Sent partial
9/30/2024 - Nice, but no :(
Upmarket women's fiction - 79,000 words

I can't believe how quickly Heather replied to my query and my pages. I appreciate her punctuality. Rejection said "she didn't spark to the story." Bummer, since she seems nice.

Query via online form: 6/27/23
83k Adult Thriller
Website: “Though we deeply respect every author's work, due to the volume of submitted queries we can only respond to projects we are interested in pursuing.”

Partial Request (75pg): 6/27/23 - "We'd be happy to review your work. Can you please send the first 75 pages or so as a Word document or PDF? It usually takes 4-6 weeks for review; if you haven't heard back in that time frame, then an email has gone astray, so please reach out again."

7/31/23 - Nice rejection with request to resubmit if revised.

11/19/23 - Resubmitted with revision

12/8/23 - Nudged with offer of rep. Quick kind pass on 12/9 due to YE workload.
