Hi all! Just chiming in from submitting to a different agent at the same agency, folks in the comments page say that you won't get the confirmation email if you're using Gmail to submit to the agency. It's some weird Gmail bug thing. Others used different email programs and got confirmation emails. I did submit to a different agent at the same agency and she replied to my query even though I didn't get the confirmation email.

Hope this helps!

Posted over a month ago based on a newsletter announcement that she was open to historical fiction 'Women-centered stories, especially those that show the female perspective of world events typically associated with men.', which is exactly the theme of my MS.
The same newsletter was announced again yesterday, the same paragraph.
No word. It behooves me to understand why agents put out these updates when they clearly ignore them! A rejection is equally as important as a confirmation to submit. Silence is not an acceptable.

I submitted via email and did not receive any automated email receipt -- a few business days later I resubmitted with a note explaining from a separate email account on a web browser and still no auto email receipt. I know others have had this issue as well-- did anyone ever "figure out" what happened or find any way to confirm if your submission went through?
