Kind pass with substantive feedback 1/14/25. This really hurts! Would love to work with her and would definitely query again.

Received a modified and complimentary form rejection based on finding similar in the comments. A really nice note and always encouraging to be invited to query again. Thanks!

"Thank you so much for sharing ______________ with me. It was a privilege to read your pages, and there's a lot here to admire! Your writing is honestly gorgeous, and your story feels really unique. Unfortunately, I didn't have that "must have" feeling that I need in order to champion a project for the long haul. That said, I think another agent may very well feel differently. If you do write something else down the road, though, please keep me in mind! I'd love to hear from you again."

Submitted my query on 10/01/2024.
Received a full request as of yesterday afternoon on 12/30/2024.

I suppose I was in her "maybe" pile, but I am stoked, nonetheless! Fingers crossed for good news! She says she'll have an answer in about 12 weeks. Really excited about this because I had given up on this manuscript and started a brand new project. This has given a glimmer of hope!
