78k Historical Romance

While the rejection was nice, I do think she could have worded it better. I understand Historical novels might be harder, but its a romance, you know the largest selling genre on the market. I see historical romances all the time and own many so I don't think her assessment of the market is accurate. If you are querying for a historical romance, I would skip this agent.

Thank you so much for thinking of me for TITLE. There is a lot to admire here, but I'm afraid I don't see a way to break this out in a crowded market.

I'm sorry I don't have better news.

I have never posted a comment before, but this was honestly one of the kindest, most earnest rejections I have ever received, and now I can't keep myself from saying something.

To the querent below, she has been open since April 1, but will close again after today.
